Long-Arm Quilting Service
Edge-to-Edge
I provide long-arm quilting which is edge-to-edge or all-over quilting to enhance your quilt design. This means I quilt in rows across your quilt. The designs I use are offset and integrated so that rows are not obvious but blended.
My long-arm service is free-motion which means I run the machine not a computer motor. This also means that there may be slight variations in the stitch designs as I work.
I charge 3 cents per square inch for designs in my library. You can calculate this by multiplying the width and length of your quilt top then multiply by 0.03. Minimum charge for quilting is $50. Original custom quilting work is 4 cents per square inch.
I use Warm and Wonderful 100% cotton batting which at my cost is $10/yard. If your quilt top and backing are pre-washed I use 80/20 cotton/polyester batting.
My quilt frame is 12 feet wide and can accommodate a quilt up to 140 inches wide, or most king-size tops.

I charge $40.oo per hour and accomplish this work on my domestic sewing machine.
General Tips and Policies
I have a variety of thread colors for you to choose from. I use Superior Threads, Omni 100% cotton, Perma Core Polyester and King Tut. If you select quilter's choice where I pick the color, I find the most neutral color that works best to blend in with your fabric colors. I use the same color on the back as I do on the top.
Do's:
Please make sure all seams are pressed open and flat or in the direction as the pattern seam pressing instructions. Flat seams help me manage the machine across the top with more ease and helps the design turn out crisp. I understand that the quilt will have fold creases if you are mailing it to me, I'll do a final press before loading onto the frame.
If you piece the backing, please make a horizontal seam when possible. It creates a smoother back that lays square on the frame. If not, don't worry I've quilted on many backs that have multiple and vertical seams.
Don't's
Please don't add buttons, sequins, rhinestones or other embellishments to the quilt top before quilting is completed.
At this time I accept cash, personal check and Venmo. If paying with personal check I will ship back your finished quilt when the check clears.

I'm thrilled with the memory quilt Linda created from my parents' clothes. She combine my father and mother's shirts into a beautiful keepsake that I will cherish forever. Thank you, Linda!
